Be Faithful With Little

“If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones. But if you are dishonest in little things, you won’t be honest with greater responsibilities”

Luke 16:10

Jesus has alway been very clear in His teaching, and despite our own belief it will not change just because we want it to. He made it clear that we need to be faithful with the little that He has given to us before we reecive anything big. So why then do so many people pray to be used by God but yet cannot be consist with their quite time. Or God has told you to pray and evangelise to some people, but you are so focused on preaching to the masses, that you forget about the few people God has placed it your care. Yes, you may get to the place where you are preaching in front of 10,000 people, but before God sends you on a big mission He will put you through training.

More often that not the training God puts us through is the litlle He has given us. For exmaple, you believe you have been called to lead a church, as true as that may be, how can God trust with a multitude of His children, when you haven’t even got your house in order. You looking after your wife and kids is part of your minsitry and untill you do that sucessful God may not allow you to become that leader. Everything we do in life is part of our minsitry, from family to eduaction, but it easily forget about the small things that God wants to use to touch peoples lives, and only focus on the big that we lose sight of what God has already given us as a ministry.

The bible says that we should not despise the days of small beginings, why? because the small beginings is what aids the latter. The small beginings are the testing seasons, for God to remove traits and thinsg in your life which are not of Him. Bceause like I said yesterday you cannot be filled by God untill you are empty out what is not of God. The small beginings is where you develop the skills and build up your spirit up in God for the future.

Don’t get caught up in the big vision of having a ministry and neglect what God has already given you. That little that He has given is just as important to God as the big He will give. For me, my blog is one of the things I am still learning to be faithful with and it is not easy at all., however, I know I need to be faithful nonetheless. It may not be easy but pray for God to give you grace and sggrength. I would find it easier speaking in front of people or preaching but in this season God has called me to focus on my blog and be diligent. Therefore, I have to be diligent as God has commanded, becaus once I have done step one, only then will go reveal step two.
