The birthmark of a believer is a bullseye
“The birthmark of a believer is a bullseye” – Pastor Steven Furtick
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour – 1 Peter 5:8
The statement by Pastor Steven is so true. You do not need to be an Apostle, a Prophet or a Pastor for the devil to come after you. As soon as you give your life to Jesus, he begins to find ways to tear your life apart and make you turn back from God. It’s good to know the promises of God over your life, but don’t be ignorant.
Too many people go into a relationship with God thinking that from there it’s going to be easy sailing, nothing bad is going to happen because I’ve got Jesus. Yes, you’ve got Jesus and that’s amazing. But that doesn’t mean that you will not go through things. Having Jesus in your life does not mean that you won’t shed some tears or break a sweat ad thick as blood ( Luke 22:44 ) In fact having Jesus in your life almost guarantees it. So don’t be ignorant about your walk with Christ. Don’t stick your head in the sand thinking that you are far above trails and tribulations. Because if the Son of God got tempted that so will you. You have to accept that all these things will come your way but when you read the bible you will know that God was glorified at the end.
No matter what you are going through know that God is going through it with you! And you will come out of it greater than who you were before you went in. If there was never a sick person in the bible, if no one ever died, if no one was ever crippled that how would we know the power of God. God will bring glory out of your situation but do not be ignorant!
Stay Blessed x
