Just Believe God
“No, I will not break my covenant; I will not take back a single word I said”
Psalms 89:35
God is who he says he is and nothing can ever change that. Even your disbelief or doubts in God doesn’t change who God is. God is still the same powerful God from the beginning of creation till now. He doesn’t change. So why not just believe Him, why not just trust in what God has said regarding you and the promises that He has given you. When you finally start trusting God you will begin to know Him.
One thing I struggled with, was “why does God love me?” I could generate hundreds of reasons why God possibly couldn’t love me. But even in my doubt, God’s love for me did not change. His love was still the same as it is now. Things that stop you from believing God’s promises are all lies. The bible says the enemy is the father of all lies, and trust me the Bible doesn’t lie. The devil will make you think of so many reasons to doubt God and His love, as I used to. This is because he doesn’t want you to experience God’s love. He knows that the day you encounter and believe that God loves you is the day that you will give your life to Christ. God’s love will transform and change your life forever, and the enemy doesn’t want that for you. He wants you to live in fear and doubt, constantly questioning God, because both will stop the progression of your relationship with God. For without faith, it is impossible to please Him.
You have a choice, you can choose to ignore the lies and believe in what the Word of God says, or you can give into the deciet. As I said before, whichever option you choose will not change who God is. It will only affect your relationship with Him and how he works in your life. If you do not believe in God you are basically locking Him out of your life. So let God into your heart and trust him because He is too great of a Father for you to never get to know Him.
